The Peacock's Legacy
About the author
I am a late blooming author who studied for a master's in creative writing online during COVID-19 era. I have a wealth of life experience, including a career as a teacher of biology and psychology, to bring to my craft. I am well-travelled and have lived in Sweden and America. My two daughters were born in St Louis, where I gained a master's in education from Washington University in St Louis. The years lived aborad gave me a unique perspective on the lives of people from a variety of cultures, from Poland to Peru and Iraq to Iran.
I excel at crafting authentic imagery and believable characters around whom I weave my plots. I have had several short stories accepted by Reedsy and won my writer's circle summer competition in 2024. The Peacock's Legacy (and its Americanized version, The Peacock's Heritage) is my debut novel.
I am married and have four grandsons and a wirehaired fox terrier named Badger. I live with my husband in Southern England, not far from where I was born. You can read more about my work on my website
