This is the debut novel of the Abbey Roberts series.  It is a medical thriller.  Abbey is an RN who after brain surgery returns to her workplace, the ICU/trauma unit.  As she navigates her new normal she realizes that the meth-addicted neurosurgeon who botched her surgery is now working in her ICU.  She must stop him before he hurts others, even at the risk of her own career.
