Everything changes when he and his colleagues uncover Archimedes' Apothecary, a mysterious cabinet containing magical items and ancient texts.

After pirates attack, Israel is fatefully marked with immortality and 'Archimedes' Insight' - the ability to discern the true nature of magic relics with a single touch. From then until now, he has traveled the world in search of these supernatural artifacts in order to keep humanity safe from baddies who would abuse their power toward nefarious ends.
