The story follows Manny’s successful but turbulent life, marked by his dedication to family (especially his son, Junior, who was born with severe cerebral palsy), his battles with substance abuse, and his staunch environmental activism, which included founding the Chord School and advocating for regenerative farming. His death precipitates the AI entity’s activation, driven by the desire to continue his artistic legacy.
